Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops

A: Watch a streamer playing Hogwarts Legacy with Twitch Drops enabled on Twitch. You’ll be able to identify a channel with drops enabled as you’ll see a callout message located at the top of the Stream Chat. Once you have earned a reward in your Twitch Inventory, claim the reward. Then navigate to the Connection page for the WB Games Account site, where you will connect your Twitch account to your WB Games profile. Once your accounts have been connected and you have claimed the items in your Twitch Inventory, open Hogwarts Legacy to see your rewards in game. Please note, you may have to restart your game to see your rewards populate if the game was open while you claimed your rewards online.

A: The Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set and the Merlin’s Cloak Cosmetic will be available from May 5th – June 1st, 2023.

A: Yes – during the Drops campaign window, you will be able to watch and earn Drops without owning the game. You will only need to have a WB Games Account to earn your Drops. However, you will need to log into Hogwarts Legacy and set up your account in order to claim your drops on the site. Once you have the game and have set up your account, any previous drops you have earned with that account will populate in game. This also applies to versions of the game with a later release, such as Nintendo Switch.

A: If you’ve linked your WB Games account to your Twitch account, for every 30 minutes watching a stream from any streamer with Hogwarts Legacy drops enabled, you’ll receive the following cosmetic items. In order:

• Charms Professor Spectacles (Face Appearance)
• Charms Professor Gloves (Gloves Appearance)
• Charms Professor Outfit (Outfit Appearance)
• Charms Professor Scarf (Scarf Appearance)
• Charms Professor Tasselled Kufi (Hat Appearance)
• Charms Professor Robe (Robe Appearance)

A: During the launch period, if you’ve linked your WB Games account and Twitch account, you can watch a Avalanche Software’s Twitch Channel with Hogwarts Legacy for 20 minutes with drops enabled to receive the Merlin’s Cloak appearance for your Cloaks and Robes Appearance gear slot.

1. Go to the Warner Bros Games Website and choose to either Create a WB Games account or sign in to your existing WB Games Account.
2. Under the Connection page for the WB Games Account site, link the console or PC platform where you plan to play Hogwarts Legacy. This will streamline the experience when you launch the game for the first time.
3. After linking your preferred game platform, select the [Connect] button for Twitch in the Connections list. Select [Continue] to proceed.
4. In the window that opens, sign in or create a Twitch Account. Select the [Authorize] button to authorize WB Games to connect to your Twitch Account.
5. Launch Hogwarts Legacy and after the introduction sequence, set up your account.
6. Return to your Twitch Inventory to earn and claim your rewards.
7. Upon your next login to the game, check the cosmetic options for the appearance of your Hogwarts student. You will also have seen a prompt just after the title screen informing you of what cosmetic rewards you obtained.

A: Your rewards will show up in game once you log in to the game with the corresponding WB Games account you used to claim your Drops. You’ll find your cosmetic items in your inventory on your first day at Hogwarts, just after completing the introduction sequence of Hogwarts Legacy, “Welcome To Hogwarts” and receiving your Field Guide and access to the Gear screen. You can equip each cosmetic item through the steps below:

1. Open the Pause Menu
2. Select [Character]
3. Hover the cursor over the gear slot for that item and select the button assigned to [Change Appearance].
4. Select the appearance you wish to equip. You can repeat this process for changing the appearance of other gear you obtain throughout the game.

A: No, a Harry Potter Fan Club account is not necessary to earn drops, or to see them in-game. As long as you use the same WB Games account to earn your rewards as you do to log into your game, your rewards will populate in game You can obtain optional rewards and customize your experience by linking your Harry Potter Fan Club account.
